We want to bring the world's attention to the Basin and Range Province of the United States and show them that it is so much more than a wasteland. More than a seemingly empty landscape that is good for nothing but storing nuclear waste. It is an unique landscape that is filled with hundreds of mountain ranges and low basins unlike anything in the world. It's teaming with life, life that has to be rugged and strong to survive. The amazing plants and animals in this region have evolved and adapted to a harsh climate that has very little water, even in "wet" years and temperatures can range from well over 100 in the day time to below freezing at night, all in the same day.
Please join us in loving this area and promoting responsible recreation so that we all can enjoy this landscape while keeping it healthy for future users and the wildlife that depend on it.
Thank you so much!
