NDOW's Wild Fish cooking class is scheduled for Saturday, June 21 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Technique Restaurant at Le Cordon Bleu. The cost of the class is $40 per person. Participants will learn tips and techniques that will help them take fish from the lake to the table and make meals they'll be proud to serve family and friends.
Due to limited seating, registration is required and available now for the June 21 class. Register online through Le Cordon Bleu's eventbrite page. Topics will include fishing in Southern Nevada, processing and storage, and cooking techniques in handling and preparing wild fish. Selected recipes will expand ones culinary repertoire and participants will be able to sample each dish. The original Big Game cooking class was held in March, and there was a high demand for more classes. The next class will take place Oct. 4 and focus on waterfowl and upland game.
