Scorpion Walks Echo Canyon State Park

Join a park ranger to learn about one of the most adaptive predatory arthropods, the scorpion. The presentation will conclude with a short walk to spot scorpions in their native habitat using UV flashlights. Please bring water, a regular flashlight and wear closed toed shoes. If you have your own UV flashlight, feel free it bring it. This event maybe canceled due to inclement weather.

WHAT: Scorpion Walk

WHEN: Saturday, August 2 at 8:15 p.m.  Saturday, August 23 at 8:15 p.m

WHERE: Echo Canyon amphitheater, located approximately 12 miles east of the town of Pioche. Follow the signs for the park off of State Route 322.

WHO: The event is open to the public.

COST:  The event is free, but the $7 per vehicle entrance fee applies. Nevada residents receive a $2 discount.
