Using beloved children’s books, this series will inspire an appreciation for nature through literature, nature walks, activities and crafts. The series will be held the second and fourth Saturday this summer. The cost for this program is free and park admission fees will be waived for those participating. Sturdy footwear, water, and sunscreen are recommended for nature hike activities. The trail is not ADA accessible nor stroller friendly. Note: some of the crafts can be a little messy. For any questions, please contact Tabitha Coughlin at 775-867-3500.
