Nevada State Parks: Temporary closure of main campground at South Fork State Recreaton Area5/1/2012 SPRING CREEK, Nev.— The main campground at South Fork State Recreation Area will be closed for public camping and day-use from May 16-20 for the Nevada Department of Wildlife’s Outdoor Education Academy program.
The campground should reopen for public use by the afternoon or early evening of May 20. All other campsites will be available for public camping and staff will try to make accommodations for other park users during this time frame.
