OVERTON, Nev. – The 3rd annual classic car show at Valley of Fire State Park is open to pre-1985 classic vehicles. Music, food and history displays will complement the classic cars on display April 21, 2012. Prizes will be awarded at 3 p.m. To enter a vehicle, submit the form on the State Parks website: http://parks.nv.gov/parks/valley-of-fire-state-park/. The show is limited to 30 cars. WHEN: Saturday, April 21, 2012, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Trophies will be awarded at 3 p.m.
WHERE: The event is being held at the visitor center. The park is located only six miles from Lake Mead and 55 miles northeast of Las Vegas via Interstate 15 and on exit 75.
WHO: This event is open to the public.
COST: This event is free, although the park’s entrance fee is $10.00 per vehicle and Nevada residents receive a $2.00 discount. Cash, check, Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
