The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) is seeking public input on the draft Conceptual Management Plan for the Overton Wildlife Management Area. The plan’s purpose is to guide NDOW in its management of the area’s wildlife, their habitats, and related programs and activities, including hunting and other recreational uses.
A copy of the draft Conceptual Management Plan (CMP) is available online at the NDOW website
The draft CMP is an update of the original plan that was completed in 2000.
Comments on the CMP are due no later than July 1, 2014 and can be submitted via the postal service or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. The mailing address is Nevada Department of Wildlife, Habitat Division, 1100 Valley Road, Reno, NV 89512. Comments may also be submitted at the June 17, 2014 meeting of the Clark County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife. The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Pueblo Room of the Clark County Government Center.
