3/1/2012

The Nevada Department of Wildlife will hold a family fishing clinic at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 10 at Floyd Lamb Park.

Participants will learn the basics of fishing, such as choosing baits and lures, casting techniques and knot tying.  The clinic will take place at Tule pond.  A Nevada fishing license is required for those who are 12 years of age or older.  There is no charge for the event and all necessary equipment is provided.

Floyd Lamb Park is located in the northwest corner of the Las Vegas Valley near Durango and Highway 95. Space is limited so registration is required. Contact Ivy Santee at 486-5127 x 3503.
