May is the month to recognize and celebrate the wonderful ways wetlands enrich the environment and our lives. Wetlands are facing numerous challenges, such as global warming, sea level rise, increasing storm severity, drought, energy development, species declines and expansion of infrastructure, driving the need for wetland conservation.
