  • Pahrump Event – Held on public land near Bell Vista Road on September 20, beginning at 8 a.m. Volunteers will assist by cleaning up the desert, removing debris and landscaping the area. Contact Melissa Sanders at 702-515-5034 or msanders@blm.gov for more information or to sign up.
  • Logandale Trails System Event – Held at the main trailhead off of Liston Avenue on September 27, beginning at 8 a.m. Volunteers will assist by cleaning-up the main trailhead, painting the restrooms and picnic tables, picking up trash and planting native vegetation. Contact Elise McAllister at 702-219-2033 or picorg@mvdsl.com for more information or to sign up.
  • Red Rock Canyon Event – Held at Pine Creek on September 27, with registration beginning at 7 a.m. at the visitor center. Volunteers will assist with trail and trailhead maintenance, trimming vegetation, painting restroom and kiosk and picking up trash. Contact Jim Suddth at 702-515-5366 or jim@friendsofredrockcanyon.org for more information or to sign up.
National Public Lands Day is an annual event that brings volunteers together to improve the country's largest natural resource - our public lands. It is expected that there will be more than 170,000 volunteers on approximately 1,277 sites throughout all 50 states and is the nation’s largest one-day volunteer event in support of public lands.
