Nevada hosts the largest number of hot springs of any state in the lower 48. Although many folks enjoy "soaking" in various springs throughout the world, we here have many that have lethal temperatures if you enter them. Photographer and naturalist Bob Goodman has visited and photographed many of these springs that are not well known, and either too hot to enter or of small size, to bring us a close look at the life that forms in undisturbed springs and their wondrous colors, textures, shapes and designs.
