Bartley Ranch Regional Park, first 4 Fridays in October This series is meant to provide amateur photographers and hiking enthusiasts alike with the opportunity to capture their own spectacular fall photography. Join Washoe County Park Rangers on the first four Fridays in October and explore some of our area's most scenic trails. Bring a jacket, a sturdy pair of hiking boots, a bottle of water, and of course your favorite camera. The hikes will take between 1-2 hours, weather permitting. Friday, October 3rd at 5:00pm - Upper Thomas Creek Trail Meet at Thomas Creek Trailhead at the end of Timberline Road. Friday, October 10th at 5:00pm - Hunter Creek Trail Meet at Michael D. Thompson Trailhead at the end of Woodchuck Circle. Friday, October 17th at 4:00pm - The Interpretive Nature Trail at Crystal Peak Park in Verdi Meet at the lower parking area in the park off of Crystal Park Road. Friday, October 24th at 4:00pm - Ranch Loop and Flume Trail at Bartley Ranch Regional Park The meeting place will be at the Historic Huffaker School at Bartley Ranch Regional Park.
