Civil War Experience and Blacksmith Demonstration at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park

Hear the cannons roar at Spring Mountain Ranch. Try on civil war uniforms, learn to march and drill in formation, and participate in a skirmish with other visitors. Later in the day, see a group of Civil War Re-enactors exercise their military skills by the 1860’s blacksmith shop. Meanwhile, watch a blacksmith bend red-hot metal in a live metal-working demonstration.

WHAT: Civil War Experience and Blacksmith Demonstration 

WHEN: Saturday, September 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WHERE: Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is located 12 miles west of I-215 on Highway 159, just outside of Las Vegas at 6375 Highway 159, Blue Diamond, Nevada 89004.

WHO: This event is open to the public.

COST: Admission to Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is $7.00 per vehicle for Nevada residents, $9.00 for all others. There is no additional charge for this program.
