The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Red Rock/Sloan Field Office will host an open house on January 19 from 2 to 6:30 p.m. at the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area Visitor Center. Presentations will be given at 2 and 5 p.m.Various staff members will provide brief project status updates. This open house is part of a series the third Thursday of each month to give the public an opportunity to meet BLM staff, get information about projects and planning, and ask questions about the management of Red Rock and Sloan Canyon National Conservation Areas and Walking Box Ranch.
When participants enter the fee booth at the entrance of the 13-Mile Scenic Drive, they should tell the attendant that they are participating in the open house and fees will be waived.
