The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Las Vegas Field Office will hold three public scoping meetings in February to listen to and record comments and questions for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) and Notice of Segregation, on a proposed wind energy project near Searchlight, Nev. The proposal includes approximately 18,789 acres of public land managed by the BLM. The public meetings will be held in an open-house format with information available about the proposed wind energy project. The meetings are scheduled from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Feb. 21-23 in Laughlin, Searchlight, and Boulder City, Nev.
