Everyone is invited to join the Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association (ESIA) and the Inyo National Forest in celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the opening of the Mono Basin National Forest Scenic Area Visitor Center. During the month of August you can enjoy a variety of performing arts events each weekend at the visitor center.
August 5, Sunday, at 7 p.m. - Malcolm Dalglesh and the Oolation Singers will perform songs of Bird and Flight. August 10, Friday, at 11 a.m. - Rangeely Theatre Ensemble will present ‘IN’Tents: A Conservation Comedy’ in the Great Outdoors (This program will also be performed at the Mammoth Lakes Welcome Center at 4:30 p.m. the same day in the Forest Service amphitheater.) August 17, Friday, at 6 p.m. - Arpeggio, a classical duet with Laura Olinger on Cello and Barbara Cote on Violin and Harp. August 25, Saturday, at 6 p.m. - An Evening of Patsy Cline, with Juliana Olinka and special guests. So come join the celebration at the Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center. All of these wonderful events are free, family friendly, and open to the public!
